KeyCastr requires access to the macOS Accessibility API in order to receive your key events and broadcast the keystrokes you are interested in. On newer versions of macOS (10.15+) there is a new Input Monitoring menu under Security & Privacy within the System Preferences app, and KeyCastr will appear there automatically the first time you run it. Simply unlock this menu and check the box next to KeyCastr to enable it. On older versions of macOS, or if for some reason the app doesn't appear under the Input Monitoring menu (or if you want to pre-enable it) then you may manually add it to the list of apps in the Accessibility menu. Pendulum is a Python package to ease datetime's manipulation. It provides classes that are drop-in replacements for the native ones (they inherit from them). Special care has been taken to ensure timezones are handled correctly, and are based on the underlying tzinfo implementation. For example, all comparisons are done in UTC or in the timezone of the datetime being used. There are several different methods available to create a new DateTime instance. datetime() sets the time to 00:00:00 if it's not specified, and the timezone (the tz keyword argument) to UTC. Otherwise it can be a Timezone instance or simply a string timezone value. Pendulum gives access to more attributes and properties than the default datetime class. The __str__ magic method is defined to allow DateTime instances to be printed as a pretty date string when used in a string context. Simple comparison is offered up via the basic operators. -

AviTab is a plugin for the X-Plane flight simulator. It displays a tablet-like computer with a few apps in the cockpit. It is mainly used for flying in virtual reality. When flying in a simulator, one often needs to look up details in PDF charts, plane manuals, checklists or other documents. Using a PDF reader breaks the immersion because the virtual aviator either has to take off of their HMD or use other tools that can move windows into VR. AviTab tries to solve this problem by offering a PDF reader inside a native plugin for X-Plane. Using a plugin also opens possibilities for more apps inside the tablet, for example, to display information about the plane status or aid in navigation. When hovering over the edges of the tablet from a short distance, X-Plane will display green bars around the tablet.
