...Dicho código fuente utiliza un elemento <canvas> de html5 sobre el cual son presentados los objetos del juego. Para lograr que la nave pase sobre el fondo de la caverna se ha utilizado el concepto de capas (layers) superpuestas, funcionalmente en una capa se mueve el fondo o paisaje y en otra lo hace la nave, técnicamente existen dos elementos canvas, una capa es un elemento canvas y la otra capa otro elemento canvas. Ambos elementos se encuentran perfectamente superpuestos uno encima del otro utilizando coordenadas absolutas y el mismo ancho y alto para lograrlo.
