Command line tool for counting source code lines
cline is a command line tool that counts code lines or non-whitespace characters in your project folder. It is designed to recursively find any source file matching specific rules and count the line breaks within that file. You may specify file suffixes to include or exclude as well as regular expressions for code lines that shall be excluded (e.g. to exclude comments). By default a heuristic algorithm skips binary files. -

Utility to show live progress, status & stats for running simulations
...OpenMP/MPI) jobs. progrep can also report for jobs running on remote hosts, e.g. jobs running on Linux Clusters. progrep works in client-server model. The server can be installed in your simulation source code with only 4 extra lines (API). When the progrep command is invoked, it queries this server as a client. progrep does not interfere with or slow down your simulation when not invoked. Even when invoked, the overhead is insignificant. Out of the box, the API works with Fortran/C/C++ code. See Wiki/README for details. -

Converts quoted-printable, UTF-8, UTF-16BE, UTF16LE to 8-bit.
Command-line tool to decode text which has undergone MIME-typical encoding into (ISO-8859) 8-bit --- without having or parsing the relevant MIME type declarations. Decodes quoted-printable sequences; handles UTF-8, UTF-16BE, UTF-16LE; optionally translates common characters from DOS or Windows code pages or HP-Roman8 into ISO-8859-1. UCS characters can be mapped to 8-bit translation strings. Single ISO C source file, "8conv.c". Translation can be controlled through a configuration file, the sample file "8conv.conf" shows the syntax. -
