Cozette
A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness
A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness. Cozette is a 6x13px (bounding box; average 5px character width, 3px descent, 10px ascent, 8px cap height) bitmap font based on Dina, which itself is based on Proggy. It's also heavily inspired by Creep. I absolutely adore Creep, and was using it up until I got a higher-DPI screen for which it was slightly too small. That prompted me to make the bitmap font I always wished existed: Cozette; a small-but-not-tiny bitmap font with great coverage of all the glyphs you might encounter in the terminal. I'm intentionally putting the emphasis on "you" - although Cozette already has all the glyphs I've seen in my CLI tools so far, you might find it's missing a glyph you wish it had. If that's the case, please file an issue! It's an important goal for Cozette to be a useful bitmap alternative to Nerd Fonts. Bitmap fonts are, effectively, just that - bitmaps. -

It sets a level of support automatically. In cfonts you can override this by passing in the FORCE_COLOR environment variable. All settings are optional and shown here with their default. You can use cfonts in your project without the direct output to the console. The package comes with a bunch of unit tests that aim to cover 100% of the code base. Redshift adjusts the color temperature of your screen according to your surroundings. This may help your eyes hurt less if you are working in front of the screen at night. This program is inspired by f.lux. Redshift adjusts the color temperature according to the position of the sun. A different color temperature is set during night and daytime. During twilight and early morning, the color temperature transitions smoothly from night to daytime temperature to allow your eyes to slowly adapt. At night the color temperature should be set to match the lamps in your room. This is typically a low temperature at around 3000K-4000K (default is 3700K). During the day, the color temperature should match the light from outside, typically around 5500K-6500K (default is 5500K). The light has a higher temperature on an overcast day. -

Monospaced font family for user interface and coding environments. Source Code Pro is a set of OpenType fonts that have been designed to work well in user interface (UI) environments. The fonts' source files and build instructions are available in the repository's master branch. Provides several types and styles of fonts for coding purposes. To build the binary font files from source, you need Python 3 along with the Adobe Font Development Kit for OpenType (AFDKO) and FontTools packages. The key to building the OTF fonts is makeotf, which is part of the AFDKO toolset. Information and usage instructions can be found by executing makeotf -h. The TTFs are generated with the otf2ttf and ttfcomponentizer tools. For convenience, a shell script named build.sh is provided in the root directory. It builds all OTFs and TTFs into a directory called target/. -

A React library is available to install under the name iconoir-react. A Flutter library is available to install under the name iconoir_flutter. Iconoir is happily part of Framer now. To start using the icons, on the top menu, Insert > Graphics > Iconoir. You can switch between icons from the right sidebar in the editor. The class must always be "iconoir-" and then the name of the icon. The icons are display: inline-block and default to the current font size. You can control this by adjusting the ::before styles of the element. -
