Welcome to the GeoGig project, exploring the use of distributed management of spatial data. GeoGig draws inspiration from Git, but adapts its core concepts to handle versioning of geospatial data. Users are able to import raw geospatial data (currently from Shapefiles, PostGIS or SpatiaLite) in to a repository where every change to the data is tracked. Starting from GIMMS values as ascii data (each line will be treated as individual time series), the application can smooth the ts - values by applying different algorithm that are based on Fouriertransformation. Separation of seasonal figure as well as the detection of linear trends is possible. Possible breaks in longterm mean can be detected with a change-point analysis using CuSum algorithms. -

jk3d is a java code for 3d interpolation of scattered data. jk3d uses a quality weighted ordinary Kriging method and optional an inverse distances weighting method. It has no graphical user interface and uses ASCII files to define the input.
