IMG2GSLIB is a small command line tool that converts images to grids into GEO-EAS format readable by geoscientific software such as GSLIB, SGeMS, Isatis, Gocad, Petrel, etc. It now can output 3D volumes from image stacking. The parser reads directly from packed *.gz files and it is not needed to unpack the OSM/XML data files to the local disk. Now in 0.3.0: osm_tags: tag analyzer (like tag watch) osm_split: split osm file in single files for nodes, ways and relations and collect some meta information (will be used as input for other tools). osm_cut: create rectangular extracts tr_view: view tool for trafalgar files, including fast osmtoolz import filter, GPX an KML track import (see screenshots) There is a small script included which helps to transform from *.bz2 to *.gz using a named pipe (seems not to work for cygwin) -

Using PHP-CLI to parse NMEA data to generate depth maps with GD. As fishing is a passion of mine,and it got me to consider using the NMEA formatted data output from my Lowrance 5-DSI Elite to generate a bathymetric map of the lake at my cottage. It is currently very crude, just a bunch of CLI scripts that record NMEA data, and the other parses the stored data and builds a depth, water temperature and sample frequency map. -

Most of the application configuration can be set from the Admin web interface, while Data Administrators have a separated Dropbox interface, which ease the management of the catalog and the data storage, and a Data Gateway interface, which controls access to data and produces data access statistics. A stand-alone client web interface, written in HTML5 and Javascript, can be used to query this catalog and other compliant OpenSearch catalogs.
