Nagios Proxy is a client server system intended to be used in a secure environment. The client will appear to external software as a Nagios service. It accepts any data on the Nagios command fifo and forwards it to the server. When HUPped it collects the config files and forward those to the server. The server will pass commands and config files on to the real Nagios process. -

...Prior to running the script, the user should configure SNMPv2 community string on the device and also include the subnet between his PC and the router into the OSPF process, so he has IP connectivity to all other OSPF nodes. After providing necessary info and the OSPF info is gathered, the user has three choices: display the OSPF routers info on the screen, export the data to a file for Excel importing and generate the OSPF topology showing neighborships, router IDs and neighbor IPs. The IEEE 1905.1 standard describes a convergent digital home network for heterogeneous technologies, such as PLC, WLAN, Ethernet and MoCA. This dissector enables Wireshark to understand, display and analyze IEEE 1905.1 traffic. It is implemented as a LUA script and can thus be easily plugged-into an existing wireshark installation. SIPFlow displays SIP/DIAMETER callflows as ladder diagrams. Packets can be captured in real time, or loaded via a pcap file. SIPFlow Standard captures data on a single host and displays SIP and Diameter callflows in an intuitive graphical format. ...The libpcap-based program has two runtime modes: 1. It sniffs packets and spools them straight to the disk and can daemonize itself for background packet logging. By default the file rolls over when 2 GB of data is logged. 2. It sniffs packets and rewrites them to a second interface, essentially acting as a soft tap. It can also do this in daemon mode. These two runtime modes are mutually exclusive, if the program is placed in tap mode (using the -I switch) then logging to disk is disabled.
