An easy to use program that monitors, or "sniffs" networks for AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo! and Jabber instant messages.

This ESL management system incorporates the electronic shelf labels and the ESL management software. The ESL management software enables you to manage your electronic shelf labels. It accomplishes this by maintaining a database with the credentials of each ESL and the last image that was sent to it. When you choose the image to be displayed on the ESL and hit the "Send Image To ESL" button, the software encrypts that image, sends it to the specified ESL over Wi-Fi using the UDP protocol, and then saves it to the database. An electronic shelf label is a device that displays relevant product information, they're usually attached to the front edge of retail shelving. Emon is another remote server monitoring application, but this time you are able to start your monitoring in the terminal easily. You do not need to install any applications on the monitoring servers, because Emon uses SSH and /proc directory to get the monitoring data. All you need to do is just configure Emon in XML and create an SSH user. After configuration, you are ready to monitor ping, dns, ports, url, CPU, RAM, SWAP, disk, traffic and log files of multiple servers in the terminal. If something goes wrong, Emon will send email to the admin. Emon is able to send the statistics (dropouts and graphs) to the admin.

In an optical network scenario which consists of multiple nodes (whiteboxes) at its edges and ROADMs in-between, the coherent transceiver average laser configuration time is improved. The process is evaluated according to a testbed setup. This is facilitated in the appropriate lab equipment (or via simulation when required). For that purpose, a software agent (Netconf server) residing at the whiteboxes, is developed receiving input from the Software-Defined Networking (SDN) packet controller (PacketCTL - a Netconf client). Then, configuration of the local transceiver laser frequencies of the controlled pluggable devices takes place, for facilitating the connectivity in-between the ROADM network. Also, the agent records and reports back telemetry data (feedback) which is used by the PacketCTL's resource-allocating mechanism to improve efficiency within the network topology.
