BEVFormer
Implementation of BEVFormer, a camera-only framework
...To aggregate spatial information, we design spatial cross-attention that each BEV query extracts the spatial features from the regions of interest across camera views. For temporal information, we propose temporal self-attention to recurrently fuse the history BEV information. Our approach achieves the new state-of-the-art 56.9\% in terms of NDS metric on the nuScenes \texttt{test} set, which is 9.0 points higher than previous best arts and on par with the performance of LiDAR-based baseline. -

Portable Framework for the Parallel Execution of Short Read Aligners
parSRA is a framework to execute short read aligners on compute clusters. It uses the following techniques in order to improve scalability: 1) a fast splitting of the input reads using the FUSE kernel module available in most of current Linux distributions; 2) a balanced on-demand distribution of the reads based on the shared locks of UPC++, an extension of C++ for parallel computing that follows the Partitioned Global Address Space (PGAS) paradigm. parSRA is portable as its configuration file allows the users to parallelize the execution of existing SRA tools without the need to modify the source code of parSRA or the aligner. -

...Under Windows, it uses the synced files from the iTunes phone files backup, and extracts the tracks from there. Under Linux, it uses the virtual file system provided by libgpod (which provides an iPhone-gvfs-bridge) and gvfs-fuse (which offers gvfs virtual filesystems as Linux FUSE filesystems). This project is for a PE Builder plug-in for the Ext2Fsd software. I decided to develope this solution in order to be able to scan ext2/ext3 partitions using KAV/KIS anti-virus Rescue Disk which is created with PE Builder.
