Hi,
Thanks for for really nice job
the only thing I can think to make it the unique pdf reader for cellphones is three things:
two of them and somehow more important:
1- custom zoom level, I prefer it to be handled by inputting a percentage as the level of zoom
2- readable part or visible part as I've seen in foxit pdf reader
the third one is not that much important as it may make the app heavy for cellphone:
3- better interface for searching through files as in adboe reader or better using files' thumbnails.

Touch Zoom

I am owner of an Nokia 5230 mobile phone. If I want to zoom I have to open the menu. Withe the (hardware) volume keys i can't just switch between pages but I like to handle the zoom with it because I can easily switch with a double click between teh pages.
It would also be a good idea to implement a "Touch Zoom Method" which works without the hard keys,

Alternate Reader should keep the screen backlight turned on

I really like Alternate Reader, it's a very useful program. Thanks for writing it!

There's one thing which gets in the way though. The screen backlight keeps turning off while I read a document (I use the program to read long PDFs). The maximum timeout I can set in my phone for keeping the backlight on is 1 minute, which is way too short to read a whole page, which means I need to scroll around a bit at most every one minute to keep the backlight from turning off. Very annoying.

Alternate Reader should have an option to keep the backlight always turned on while the program is running, so that I can read documents without having to worry about having to touch the screen every minute.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that already (then it's a bug), or if it would be a new feature. My phone is a Nokia 5230, running Symbian S60 5th edition.

smooth scrolling by pressing volume keys

screen can be scrolling by pressing volume keys.
please add option to switch scrolling instead of by 1 screen up/down to smooth scrolling or half-screen scrolling

Could be nice to have an option like "wrapping mode"(wrap to screen). I like it very much when reading pdf on cell phone.

It's not so easy to use the zoom facility,
it would be nice to have a slider (on touch screen phones) to change the zoom level instead of be forced to enter more times in the menu.
