I am trying to get windows media player to play together with GrandOrgue which uses ASIO too. I installed the ASIO plugin and configured it the only way wmp would play but it fails when GO is loaded. The issue seems to stem from trying to run 2 instances of ASIO.

Is there a solution?

Besides, I have noted that WMP set with ASIO cause a very significant video/ audio mismatch (latency) on playing video files to the extent that I had to stop using the plugin (by unchecking it in the WMP configuration menu) as it was not serving me any purpose to have it.

Requested File

Dear Sir
I could not figure out how to add a file to our existing thread so I started this one. Attacked is the desktop icon which starts Media Player with the plugin active
Thank you for your assistance
I just installed asio2wasapi and love it. I then notice a new version of ASIOwmplg and I installed over the older version and it stopped working.I rebooted, uninstalled it reinstalled to no avail. I then change to ASIO4All previously installed and noticed that while the ASIO4ALL icon appeared in the task tray, but it would not go into the play mode. This leads me to believe that ASIOwmplg is not passing the data stream. I could not find the older version of ASIOwmplg that work to re-install in for test purposes.
Love the sound, I just need to go again
Thanks
