I've checked a few   simple PBN files using the pbnverifier app and consistently found the following errors:&lt;br/&gt;
1) a space at the end of the deal line, before the closing quote&lt;br/&gt;
2) the dealer should be specified as E not East&lt;/p&gt;

Java is always developing, but not always downwards compatible. This program is used by only very few users. So, I did not go through the hassles of testing compatibility with Java 8. I suggest installing the most recent Java version. Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: renegrothmann/bridgereplay/Main has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 62.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'm using Version 8 Update 411 on Windows 11 PC which I downloaded and installed today. When I  check for updates it says I have the latest version.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</summary></entry></feed>
