It might just be the way I have cntlm v0.92.3 configured, but, in OS X 10.10.5, mappings I have in /etc/hosts that were working before no longer work. I've tried using IP addresses in /etc/hosts that shouldn't be passthru by cntlm as well as those that it should redirect, so it seems like it is just completely ignoring /etc/hosts. After each change I also did dscacheutil -flushcache && sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder to ensure that it reloaded changes.
