This release adds compatibility with Dar 2.6.x and fixes a few bugs.

For the Linux version the interface has been translated to Italian by Valerio Guaglianone.

A new release of DarGUI is now available for download from SourceForge. DarGUI is a graphical frontend for the Disk ARchiving utility \(DAR\) which uses the GTK+ library. This release adds a few minor features and fixes incompatibilities with 2.4.x versions of Dar released to date. DarGUI is now available for Windows as well as for Linux.

A new release of DarGUI is now available for download from SourceForge. DarGUI is a graphical frontend for the Disk ARchiving utility \(DAR\) which uses the GTK+ library. This release adds support for scheduling backups using atd and cron where available. DarGUI can now save backup scripts. Backup settings can now be saved and reloaded. HTML Help is now available. The archive creation dialog has been refined and a number of bugs fixed.

A new release of DarGUI is now available for download from SourceForge. DarGUI is a graphical frontend for the Disk ARchiving utility \(DAR\) which uses the GTK+ library. This release fixes problems when loading archives containing large numbers of files and adds a number of features, including creation of differential backups. DarGUI has now been translated into French. The second release of DarGUI is now available for download from SourceForge. DarGUI is a graphical frontend for the Disk ARchiving utility \(DAR\) which uses the GTK+ library. This release fixes a small number of bugs. In particular DarGUI now has its own logger so DarGUI operations are now logged on systems where xterm logging is disabled. Two new Dar functions have also been added: isolate catalogue and compare files in archive with those on filesystem. New for this release: \* files in archive are now listed alphabetically \* improved logging of DarGUI operations \* fixed a memory leak related to allocating names for batch files \* added dar function for isolating catalogue from archive \* added dar function for comparing archive contents with filesystem \* added README files to binary and source tarballs

The initial release of DarGUI is now available for download. DarGUI is a graphical frontend for the Disk ARchiving utility \(DAR\) which aims to make it easier and quicker to perform common backup tasks using DAR. It uses the GTK+ library which is installed on most linux distributions so usually the only additional dependency is DAR. DarGUI aims to complement and enhance the commandline features of DAR rather than conceal them and to help users to learn how DAR works so that they can use it from the commandline when necessary.
