&lt;p&gt;dos2unix contains some calls to strerror where the result is assigned&lt;br/&gt;
to a char *. However, according to the strerror specification, the&lt;br/&gt;
string returned by strerror should never be changed, so it would be&lt;br/&gt;
better to use const char * instead.&lt;/p&gt;

2. if the file is  already in unix format and trying to convert again in Unix, Show  meassage like file is already in unix. But the tool is keep converting  again. similar in man1/dos2unix and es/man1/dos2unix.
It can be fixed by escaping the number 7 in the item definition.
