DPR 3.0 Developer Preview released

Much has changed since DPR 1.0 proved the concept of a digital preservation metadata recording tool. Now with antivirus integration and full workflow management, the developer preview of the upcoming DPR 3.0 release provides an insight into the workings of this mature software tool.

The DPR is just one component of the Digital Preservation software suite. http://sourceforge.net/projects/xena/ and http://sourceforge.net/projects/quest-archiv/ are both required to complete the picture.

Xena is the XML normaliser application that DPR is designed to watch over, and Quest is the Digital Repository query tool designed to retrieve archival information packages from a digital repository.
