Hi Alice, The website is up again, but in the mean time Google has decided that i am a spammer and a scammer with my own written Femto OS. My youtube channel (10 years online without any change) has been closed, and the "femtoos" is almost erased from their index. The don't give an explanation, and 'resistance is futile'.

Hi, the project is not actively developed any more, but the code is still very usable. The website (which contains all documentation) is down because i need to relocate my server to an other datahotel, my apologies for that. This may take up to two weeks.

This parameter indeed may interfere with the execution of the code to report an error on the pins. (it depend on the device type which port is used, see the device.asm file) See here what error you may expect. If you set cfgCheckAlwaysFatal to cfgTrue, femto os will report the error 'forever'.

Hello evrybody, I'm new to embedded OS, so I started some activities with this small OS. I'm using Eclipse toolchain and I have big issues with code debug, I just use UART link for readback info coming from debug code. Anyway...I'm looking for more information about the SO configuration define cfgCheckMethodUse. It is not clear to me how this check works, the only thing I know is: if I set this cfg parameter to True, my code stop working...let say not completely, the boot section is executed, then...

If i remember correctly the events are stored in e byte somewhere, so 8 events is a hard limit i am afraid. Such hard limits apply to most of the parts (tasks, priorities etc) and this was a design decission. Normally when you need the OR function on different events, you just fire the same event from different places. And use one event for the blocking tasks. Is this not possible? May i don not quit understand you problem correctly

Thank you. I have tried multiple times with 0.92 and 0.922 neither of them worked. It fails at bin-utils again. (I patch install_toolchain to use cvs, copy the patches from the zip into the patches directory. I have even tried to patch them manually but it fails) I attach the last log.

Are you planing to update the tool chain (the scripts as well)? (Pleeease do) In every steps there are some error what I am tryin to fix (find missing files, hacking to avoid texinfo bug like colophon, Cygnus), and now I have give up at binutils. If you would be so kind to refresh it a bit it would be wonderful.(I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 at the momment) Thank you for your remarkable work!

Sorry, i did not forget you, i am still on a journey. In any case, i stopped using AVR studio at version 6 because there were to many 'weird errors'. So my first question would be, can you compile from the command line? Futhermore, it may be an compiler incompatibity. Did you try the last gcc version 4? If not, i would give that a spin. When i am back home i can try to recreate this, but not from where i am now.

I'm brand new to using AVR studio 7 and FemtoOS. I've downloaded and installed the AVR studio 7 for windows (10), I've also installed the winAVR package but I'm not sure I need that, downloaded, unpacked, and ran the ran the "install" script for FemtoOs. Femto OS should be agnostic about the variables you use in your own code. Is this a varable for your own use? And what version of the compiler are you using?

int32_t count= 100000; with out using femtoos OS the AVR studio compile no error. with femtoos OS the AVR studio give me a warning : this decimal constant is unsigned only in ISO C90 if the constant < 0x 7FFF , no warning from compiler. I guess the femtoos OS not except 32 bit variable.
