My Linux distribution is Fedora Linux.
I was just upgraded from version 41 to 42 and was uncomfortably surprised. In version 42, the default version of TCL is 9. With the help of Mamoru Tasaka, I solved the problem. There is also a TCL 8 RPM and all I had to do was a correction from Wish in Wish8. Can we also expect TCL 9 support?

I have been working on support of TCL 9. At this point the biggest problem is that Expect has not moved to TCL 9. This means that a lot of the VFS support fails. I am trying to find bugs in my TCL only version of Expect. You can get my latest efforts at: https://gandk.site/Tom's/fr/ . Comments welcome on what you find.
