<div class="markdown_content"><p>Today <strong>FlexamySynth</strong> moved to SourceForge, since it's old home <br /> on Google Code will be shutting down soon.</p> <p>I celebrate this by releasing a new version of the library,<br /> <strong>FluxSynth</strong>, which is <em><a class="alink" href="/p/flexamysynth/wiki/FlexamySynth">[FlexamySynth]</a></em> made I/O oblivious.<br /> This liberates the lib from all previous dependencies on any<br /> particular I/O lib, and allows <em>you</em> to use any means you want <br /> to actually transfer the MIDI data stream to the SAM2195 chip.</p> <p>You simply write a sendByte function, and assign it<br /> to the function pointer in your lib instance.<br /> Easy as pie.</p> <p>This release is long overdue, but I hope you'll find it useful.<br /> It is the library I use myself to talk to my <a href="http://moderndevice.com/product/fluxamasynth-shield" rel="nofollow">FluxamaSynth</a>.</p> <p>As soon as I can find out how to do it, the programmer's<br /> documentation will be made available here in webpage form,<br /> for those who prefer that to the previous CHM file.</p> <p>Now go and build a cool bleepbox or whatever ;)</p> <p><em>Neo</em></p></div>
