Having played around a little more i'm just going to look at alternatives. For import problem we know that used format has some limitation in size and for normal job we use tiles with size about 2 -3 GB and it works.
Can you tell me how to run the software from ubuntu. I have it installed fine but unsure how to actually open the software.
Thanks

Import .las file issue

Hello !
Program is cruching and shutting down when i am trying to import .las file point cloud. Program does not show any information about error just shutting down or don't answer. File size is around 8.5 GB and there is above 150 000 000 points. I have extracted single tree from point cloud and when i am trying to import this file there is no errors. And my second question is: Is there any option in the program to automatically select trees from base point cloud ?
Greetings from Poland,
I have visited your site at GitHub: https://github.com/VUKOZ-OEL/3dforest-data, where are beautiful 3D scan of trees. I downloaded file: tree_1.pcd and I have a question. Can you tell me, what kind of tree it is (e.g. oak, beech)? That would really help me.
Thanks for your answer.

Measure the diameter at 30cm

Hi, currently is not possible to easily set up measurement height for DBH. There might be workaround for you. Try to translate your trees on the z axis higher by one meter and than compute tree position with original terrain.

Measure the diameter at 30cm

Hello
I am working on the savannah data and wish to measure the diameters of my individuals at 30cm from the ground and not at 130cm.
How will I proceed?
