how to use? set healthmonitorsqlite3-1.1.8.17-windows-installer.exe. What to run? Do you need to create SQLite database yourself? and under what license is the program distributed?

Not only that, but if the user makes a mistake in one of the questions and gets the connection error exception, then the configuration.xml entry persists and the user doesn't get the opportunity to correct the mistake on next run.

Temporary fix: On connection error, delete the config keys for firebird server so that the next run becomes a 'FirstRun'

Better fix: Add a 'test Connection' dialog at the end of the dialog sequence, and fallback based on the test

Posh fix: Add a form as suggested.

Currently, first run mysql/firebird gives a series of questions that have to be followed sequentially. This can be awkward as users must pay extra attention.

Suggest providing for a db details form that can be filled in at once, including a test button.
See your Lazarus directory \examples\database\sqldbtutorial3 for an example.

Yes, please do. We are only using httpsend, so I checked the dependencies to avoid importing the whole of synapse. Looks like linux64 has an additional one.

I got synapse fresh from the project site (not via svn, though)

By all means update/replace any synapse files needed in the trunk.

See title (part of Synapse).
BTW what version of synapse are you using? Trunk? Stable? (In general I'd suggest trunk; there are some bugfixes there)
Much easier if I just add the missing files myself ;)
