installed iscroll2 (v 0.32) onto am ibook g4 with the following system summary:

tapping works but two-finger scrolling does not. given the system config info, should the iscroll2 work on the system. i did run the test script and it reported that the app should work on this system. if necessary, here is my direct email: leremus3@gmail.com. thanks in advance.

I just installed .32 PPC on my iBook G4 and the 2 finger will not work for me. Vertical Scrolling is enabled. (I use 2 finger scroll natively on my MBP 2.53)

iScroll2 for linux ?

Is there a way to port iScroll2 to linux ? I can't give up the "iScroll2" way of using my pre-2005 iBook G4 touchpad, but mac os 10.3 is definitely ageing, and there's nothing that allows two finger scrolling for our ADB touchpad in linux, so I'm kind of stuck. I'd be happy to help doing that (but I don't have a clue on how to proceed) !

Unable to install older versions

Hi, I am having a problem with version 32 changing sensitivity settings after i put my PowerBook G4 to sleep. I read in the forums that this is a common problem with newer releases, but not as much w/ version 27 and earlier. So i uninstalled version 32 and tried installing both version 24 and 27, both times i get the same error "You can not continue. There is nothing to install." One other fact worth noting: I am able to reinstall version 32, but when I do the installer says "Upgrade" rather than "Install" at the final screen. Any suggestions on how to work around this problem? Thanks.

Upgrade from G5 powerbook to MacBookPro and launchd problem

I upgraded from an older G5 laptop to a brand new MBPro. The new bmp has the latest trackpad and therefore I don't need the iScroll driver.

I have tried running the uninstall script for iScroll and rebooting, but I still get the following error in system.log

Presumabley Launchd is still trying to launch the program after it has been removed.

The uninstall script seems to have failed to remove /Library/LaunchAgents/name.razzfazz.daemon.iScroll2.plist

Removing that file seems to have stopped the errors in the logs.

Iscroll 0.28 does not work correctly in Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) the two fingered clicks work but not the scroll functionality!
Any help would be great with this issue

One day my touch pad stopped working. It happening one or two times. It
recovered itself in 1-2 days. By the way i had clened my notebook.

Afterall two fingers just not work at all. I uninstalled and reinstall it
(upgraded from .25 to .26. But nothiung happened. Touchpad worked
properlly, but two fingers not work — it just moves cursor up or down as
it is one finger.

17" PB, 1MHz, 10.4.7

Update caused problem

Hi, I recently updated to iScroll2 version 0.26 and have begun to
experience significant usability problems.

after restarting my machine the scrolling speed is extremely fast, and it
doesn't seem as if the "Speed" slider makes any difference when I move it
to slow.

This behavior usually goes away after a while using my machine, but I
haven't pinpointed what fixes it after time.

Is there any place to download the previous revision which worked
flawlessly for me?
