The "Failed to execute" problem under RedHat 9.0 happens because
of a coredump when the DISPLAY env. variable is not defined;
Adam Wells reports JCGrid works fine under MacOS X 10.3.4.

How to fix the "Failed to execute" problem

It looks like POVRay give a coredump under Linux if the env. variable DISPLAY is not defined even if I use the "-D" option. Try to define the DISPLAY variable on the Linux box (i.e. export DISPLAY=192.168.1.6:0) and then to run the worker scripts. This has always fixed the problem for me (and as doublececk if I unset DISPLAY I start to get the "Failed to execute" error).

I'm still investingating exactly why it happens only with JCGrid and how to fix this problem.

It looks like something goes wrong while uploading files to SourceForge ftp site. I fixed 0.03 tgz. Now they should work fine. Thanks to Stephen Parkinson for reporting the problem.
