I thought I should submit this patch if I got it working on my own system, to help all the users who want this.&lt;br /&gt;
It's not many changes (just an if added).&lt;br /&gt;
This patch is applied to the svn version got from here:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://kopete.kde.org/svnaccess.php" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://kopete.kde.org/svnaccess.php&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To the file kdenetwork/kopete/protocols/yahoo/yahooaccount.cpp&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It should be made configurable in the settings dialog.&lt;br /&gt;
