Create a scanned image using the profile for the scanner provided by the maker (Canon).
Displaying the scan using this profile to correct looks fine.
Convert this image using tifficc or nip2 with liblcms2 of Debian sid/unstable package version 2.2+git20110628-2 .
Conversion is from the Canon profile to another. The resulting image has a pronounced color cast.
Since using the Canon profile to correct the image for display works fine, I would think the information in the profile should be adequate to convert to another profile.

Example conversion:
tifficc -b -e -i Canon.icc -o /usr/share/color/icc/sRGB_v4_ICC_preference.icc Canon.tiff sRGB.tiff

The other man pages are there in the source directories, but they are not getting installed, their Makefiles do not have code for it.
I think changing in utils/xxx/ Makefile.am, for xxx in linkicc psicc transicc

The man pages are from 2004, only their file names have been adapted to lcms2, in their text they use the old (lcms1) command names.
