We were previously planning to use the CVS system, but decided to wait for Subversion when it was offered. Subversion is mainly used for the site backend installing search plugins, but it can also be used for version control. We expect the new system to have a performance increase.

The subversion repository may be browsed at:
New features include sort by location, and multiple URL's. In addition, we have launched a new domain to commerate these updates and the fifty plugin milestone, http://librarysearch.org/

The new URL is easier to remember, and will hopefully promote word-of-mouth publicity.

Plugins will no longer be released to the File Release system, but current plugins will remain available for archival services. Automated JavaScript installs will be based on SourceForge's ViewCVS system. This should have no effect on users, but if you have cached copies of our plugin pages you may have to refresh them.
