<div class="markdown_content"><p>Using XMLHttpRequest POST to a mod_rexx script on the server works for all browsers except Firefox. Firefox will always append "charset=UTF-8" after the Content-Type request header as seems appropiate as per spec of the W3C. Other browsers don't seem to do this yet.</p> <p>Mod_rexx will then fail to parse the request string into the WWWARGS. stem due to a restrictive strcompare in rxfuncs.c in the WWWGetArgs function at line 513.</p> <p>Changing the compare to only compare for the length of "Content-Type" disragarding the appended character encoding will fix this for Firefox.</p> <p>Same thing is true for mod_oorexx, but since I'm unable to compile mod_oorexx cleanly for my Centos system i'm still using mod_rexx.</p></div>

<div class="markdown_content"><p>After one PHP page executed - every subsequent rexx <br /> script (test.rex or/and rsptest1.rsp or whatever) will fail <br /> with: The name specified is not recognized as an <br /> internal or external command, operable program or <br /> batch file (error in apache error.log). Means in script <br /> test.rex the arg(1) ist empty and then it fails at call <br /> WWWSendHTTPHeader r, "text/html". This situation is <br /> duplicatable. Had no problem without PHP. This is a <br /> Regina only problem. I've just tested the same with <br /> ooRexx and there is no such of a problem. Hope there is <br /> a new version takeing care of this...</p></div>

From Rexx script #1 I'm<br /> trying to perform a "WWWInternal_Redirect" to script<br /> #2. When I do this I get a segmentation fault in the<br /> "error_log" and the second script page is never<br /> displayed. It appears the second script is never<br /> executed. It appears something related to the internal<br /> redirect is not quite right.</p> <p>If I set a "location" header and respond with a 302<br /> return code (temporarily moved) instead of the internal<br /> redirect the second page is displayed. This goes back<br /> to the browser and causes it to perform an external<br /> redirect by issuing another request with the relocated<br /> URL. This works for now.</p></div>
