*Curious as to why MirrorLink isn't appearing. Steering wheel and VIM both worked fine. Followed the steps multiple times for MirrorLink and it's not appearing and isn't an option to enable/disable.* Disregard the above. How can I undo this update? Wasn't aware that MirrorLink isn't iOS compatible so this was all a waste of time. Need to factory reset my MyLink. Googling gives results, none of which apply to my 2014 Spark. Hopefully someone is still watching this thread..

Ummm. Am I the only one who sees this unlock feature is only for 2012-14 model years? I would love to see one for the 2014-18, but you are braver than I to try and use this on anything other than 12-14 model years! If anyone knows a location for the files for newer years, please post here. I am sure the procedure is very similar. Thanks!

Help please. I have a Holden Colorado MY16 LTZ. Updated firmware as per instructions and lost steering wheel controls and rear camera. Went back to upload steering whell control fix and screen went black. I can hear the radio however no controls work on the steering wheel of head unit itself and reverse camera still not working. Is there any software to take it back to original settings?

Trying to see if this is the what I need to take a 2013 Malibu radio and put into a 2012 Volt? I know you have to reprogram the radio software to support the EV functionality.

If someone can help me get the original firmware: 24.5 42478286 The process broke something on the system and is very slow and irresponsive (some process taking the cpu to 100% load)... My unit is a Sonic 2016 ltz.. Thanks whoever can help me!!!!!

Hey @Paul Martinl, did you fix this problem? It happened the same with my sonic 2016 ltz... It seems there is a process running that each 3 seconds puts 100% load on the processor... Where u able to fix it? I found some info that some chinese guys can send the original firmware but I am unable to register to that specific blog...

Well, you could purchase a newer factory radio like I did and have the expert in MI re program it so you can enter navigation while your driving...but that is about it unless you ask for the 2015 version radio with texting too. I opted for the NAV only and then got the latest updates that way. Hope that makes sense. Hello, Can anyone speak for this working on a 2015 Chevy Spark, really vanilla, no extras? They only reason why I'm considering doing this is that I'm having a tough time using my Samsung Galaxy S4 with phone / music functionality. I can pair them, and mylink even goes through the motions of showing the phone / my playlist, but when I try to use either, I get no sound, even putting the phone / car volume level all the way up - nothing. I'm thinking that this might be a firmware problem? Anyone that...

I updated to the latest firmware and followed the steps to add video in-motion. For some reason, steering wheel control and backup camera does not work after adding video in-motion. Good thing i backed up the original file. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Have tried to get to work on my 2017 traverse 1lt - with the mylink unit, i have the one without navigation. But so far have failed - it wont update the firmware to either 24.5 or 24.1. Unlike whats posted here, on this mylink i cant get "developer mode" to even come up. Nor can I find any screen that tells you current version anything. Nor can I find any "explorer" (file manager) mode to browse the usb. I also found I had to put the firmware files on the root of the the usb for mylink to see them....

Hello i just installed the file, everything is working including video in motion, which is why i wanted to update it. (but i didnt use mirrorlink). in the video you linked at the top, you are able use the steering controls where as after i installed the files i cant use my steering controls. is there a way i can get that back without losing video in motion or wrecking my system??? Thanks, John. Also, I misspoke about the other apps. Seems like only Pandora works. Tune-In was working as audio through bluetooth. Also, I believe my MirrorLink version on my phone is 1.1 I've attached more photos for reference.

Has anyone tried updating from 23.5? If so, did it work? I have a 2016 Sonic. I called the dealership where I bought it a while ago to try to get them to update my version. The guy told me that my radio wasn't supported. I have a feeling that he was just saying that so he didn't have to deal with me/update my system.

So I am trying to do this on a 2013 Chevy Cruze, which has the panasonic MyLink system with Software version 22965238. I inserted the USB and it said no music files, but I went in to settings and tried Update Software and it said "No software found". I tried to get in to developer mode and no matter how many times I tap the upper-left corner, I never get a prompt for the passcode. What am I doing wrong here? Any help is appreciated! Thanks

I have a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse LT. For whatever reason we can not push the talk button and say a name from our phonebook even when paired with the vehicle. It requires us to program each number we want to store. Moments ago I discovered that if i hit the siri button on my phone i can say the name and it will dial. Our 15 LT Equinox could load our address book no problem. So this brings me here for help.. Anyone do this load on a 17 Traverse LT?

I completed the install without incident but noticing two issues. Mirrorlink does not pick up my S7 and in picture and movie mode tere is a limit of 250 items in the meny... any possibility of removing this limitation?

can someone help me out, the link for the mylink unlock zip just gives me an error, the page says create access ? also im trying to enable mirror link in a 2016 holden commodore SSV REDLINE / chevy SS. has anyone has sucess with achiving mirror link on these cars? can anyome point me in the right direcrion for the latest software and unlock files i will require for my flash drive. I was originally in 10.23 in my 2013 Chevy Cruze, I made the update 24.5. This enable apps like BrinGo but I lost the rear camera. I downgrade to 20.03 and rear camera came back but I haven't any apps in "smartphone link" even grayed out. Is it possible to just activate some applications like BringGo without updating the firmware ? Thanks

Can you do something to get this to work on a 2017 GMC Sierra? I checked and the software version isn't 24.x or anything like that. The software version is: 84156707. I'm most interested in VIM, but would like to have CIM also, as I tow a lot. I tried to get into developer mode by tapping on the upper left hand corner 10 times (also tried the upper right hand corner), but could not get into dev mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
