This is exactly one of new features of just released version 3.2 - you can open multiple files at once which will result in merging data from them into one view.

#16 Merging of different backup files

Just released version 3.2 introduces ability to merge data from multiple backup files - just for view & export (does not write any backup file). Even it is not exactly what is requested here, I believe that it can be useful too.

I am afraid that writing modified backup that could be restored back to phone will never be implemented as it is simply too big challenge :)

Threaded view for SMS

Could it be possible to have a threaded view for SMSs? I mean an interface where I could have both sent and received messages arranged in chronological order, like in modern smartphones. Thank you very much\!

Inaccurate parsing of NBF contacts

If you go ahead and make an NBF backup of your phone's data \(NOT AN NBU\) and then open it with NbuExplorer it will successfully parse your SMSs although your contacts will only be visible as VCF files \(not a single big database\). Also, \(and I assume that's because of the first problem\) you don't see the name of the sender next to an SMS you've received, you just see the number\!

Add drag and drop functionality

When viewing contents of the archive file, simple drag and drop from application to user \(desktop\) would be great.

Parsing should be done asynchronously

Parsing of the larger .NBU files should be done asynchroously with some progress indicator shown to user. thank you
