Frontend Backend Version Mismatch

Notification broken when using external SMTP Server

When connecting to an external SMTP SERVER (ie. not localhost), Notification.pm uses the SMTP_SERVER variable for both opening the connection and creating the HELO statement. This violates RFC, and causes well configured email servers to refuse the email.

The attached patches add a HELO_SERVER variable to the config, and then use that when issuing the call to smtpsend().

Please include in the next release.

I changed install.pl to make it work, from (line 203):

to

RebuildHierarchy.pl don't work

How to reproduce
1. delete some old data in profiles
2. run RebuildHierarchy.pl

]# ./RebuildHierarchy.pl
Current old layout is '1'
Configured new layout is '1'
Apply new layout to all NfSen profiles:
=> ./Internet_Comstar
=> ./live
This will reorganize all your data files. You may again rebuild your hierarchy any time later

Make sure NfSen is not runnig: shut down NfSen:

Plugin Writers guide needs fixing

The plugin writers guide (http://nfsen.sourceforge.net/PluginGuide/plugin-guide.html) need to be fixed. The sentence:

my $conf = $NfConf::Pluginconf{demoplugin};

should be:

my $conf = $NfConf::PluginConf{demoplugin};

PHP Warning in details.php

When going to the Details page there is this message:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: '' (ASCII=1) state=2 in /var/www/html/nfsen/details.php on line 1714

This is caused by an literal ASCII code 1 (Ctrl-A or ^A) in the string. It appears five times in details.php

This character should be escaped instead of literal. Replace the ^A with a \1 for the same string but no warning.
