Sorry, it seems your post was overlooked. Not sure iMath can work on NixOS. It is compiled on Ubuntu so I would expect it to work best there.
Does NixOs use debian-style packages (*.deb)? Then you might try installing the package from my PPA https://launchpad.net/~jrheinlaender/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

Thanks for the quick attention, I am hoping I'll be able to make use of your work here in a project I am working on.

LibreOffice did not find your update in the Tools>Extensions "Check for Updates" button.
However, I was able to download the 2.3.6 .oxt file from the LO website, so I removed the old version and added the new version without issue, I can confirm the inserted formulas are now properly sized. Awesome!

Thank you for reporting this. It seems to be a bug introduced by newer versions of LO.
Just now I am working on a new release of iMath. You can either wait a few days for this or try switching back to an older LO version.

I am attempting to follow the tour - I noticed the font size of inserted forumla is very small in a new document. Any suggestion to get the iMath objects to display normal size by default?

This is imath 2.3.4 on windows 10, libreOffice 24.8, obtained via the libreoffice extensions website (https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/imath).
