After taking foto(s) with DRO or HDR the app prcesses these, but crashes before it saves the result.
Happens on Samsung Galaxy S5 running with LineageOS 16.

I am having the same issue. It was working fine with LineageOS 15.1 before I updated to 16 yesterday. I am also using the Samsung Galaxy S5.

OnePlus 3T has known problems with manual exposure (which also affects HDR at least) and third party camera applications, I've reported them at https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/camera2-api-bugs-for-3rd-party-camera-apps.506100/ .

LOVE the app, but +1 for the issue.

Running LOS 16 on the Galaxy S5 (klte). Taking pictures in either DRO or HDR mode crashes while processing. In case it is any use, I attached OC's debug info and a logcat grepped for "camera" (covers a quick start app, take a pic in dro mode, crash).

Same device (Samsung S5 LOS 16) and same crash here.
The log contains the following relevant lines:
22:45:04.024 E RenderScript: Unable to open shared library (/data/user_de/0/net.sourceforge.opencamera/code_cache/com.android.renderscript.cache/librs.histogram_compute.so):(null)
    22:45:04.025 V RenderScript: Invoking /system/bin/bcc with args '/system/bin/bcc -unroll-runtime -scalarize-load-store -rs-global-info -rs-global-info-skip-constant -o histogram_compute -output_path /data/user_de/0/net.sourceforge.opencamera/code_cache/com.android.renderscript.cache -bclib /system/lib/libclore_neon.bc' ...
22:45:04.253 E RenderScript: bcc: FAILS to compile 'histogram_compute'

I have checked the opencamera/code_cache folder and the librs.histogram_compute.so is not there. Should this file exist, or is it created by the bcc call? If is temporary and created by bcc, shouldn't the call to bcc be made before RenderScript tries to open the histogram_compute.so file?

Sorry, found only today the tickets. I have the same issue on S5 LTE+ running on LOS 16 and posted a few days ago some thoughts on possibly related aspects in the forum. Maybe something helps.

I have removed the app (installed via F-droid) and install it again by downloading the apk directly from sourceforge. Both DRO and HDR work fine now.

Your mileage may vary, but I can not confirm this, sadly.

      Same crash as before.

(LOS 16, Galaxy S5, see my post from 2019-05-08)

I had the same prbolem with an Android 11 smartphone: the Oukitel WP12 (based on the MTK chipset). Clearing app data and cache did not solve the problem. Uninstalling the app and installing it again instead SOLVED the problem. Now I'm running Open Camera version 1.50.1 from F-Droid.
