&lt;p&gt;This release has the basis of the most important functionality;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Connect to an ELM OBD-II interface device through a serial port&lt;br /&gt;
* Check MIL status and clear any stored error codes&lt;br /&gt;
* View live PID data (engine temps/fuel status etc) depending on what is&lt;br /&gt;
supported by a particular vehicle.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Available for both Windows and Linux (deb or rpm), and source code, from&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Connects to device&lt;br /&gt;
Menu item View:Get PIDS will write some PID values into the log window&lt;br /&gt;
(remember to connect to device first!)&lt;br /&gt;
Can see MIL status and reset (WARNING - can't yet see what they are so&lt;br /&gt;
use with extreme care)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The bad news:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is VERY alpha.&lt;br /&gt;
Only builds on Linux&lt;br /&gt;
No "make install"&lt;br /&gt;
Serial port hard coded into obdFrame::onMenuConnect&lt;br /&gt;
Only works for ELM327 interface devices&lt;br /&gt;
