Hey Everyone,

OpenSong Beta 2 is now available on the downloads page.
This is mainly a bug fix release.
Most notably this release addresses how OpenSong
handles non-existent Document folders.
OpenSong will now attempt to create the folders, or continue to run with limited functionality if the folders cannot be created.

However there is one exciting new feature:
Automation API for remote control purposes using REST over HTTP and/or WebSocket.
For a full description of the API see http://opensong.org/d/api. The current implementation supports all information retrieval operations (GET). (thanks to Vwout for this)
