Is it possible to add Restricted View Feature for Webdav as well? Because at this moment, all users can see names of file and folders of each other.

Is it possible to implement feature for opening Word or Excel files, insert necessary changes and after saving it's automatically save changes on server?

It would be nice if an ordinary user could edit and delete his own file comments even if he is neither admin nor the file owner.
I have already attached a patchfile for the cvs version (1.38) of /owl/modify.php

Modify File Properties (Extended)

It seems that the OWL check if files exists or not when trying to rename files into something that already exists on the server; which is a good feature.

But, after I upgraded OWL couple of month ago and moved to another server I have after that activity taken notice of the Swedish Character and some special english characters has been mangled in the move. It's not that many and would be easy if OWL actually would allow me to rename the mangled file names to what it should be; for example:

InfÃ¶rande_och_hjÃ¤lp_av_ITSM.pdf

should be and changed to:

Införande_och_hjälp_av_ITSM.pdf

But, when renaming the file within "Modify File Properties" I get the nice error that the file already exists. So it would be nice if at least for Admins if this check could be ignored by having maybe an extra cross-box in the form; ie [x] Forced Update or something like that. The same feature request also valid when there is a need to rename directories with the same problem.

As an admin function I would like to predefine, which users and/or groups will recieve notifications of file/directory changes.

At the moment, only the user himself can define, which files or folder he want to monitor and receive notification.

Add an Optional for admin users in Reviewers

Give authority for admin users dont need reviewers while "make peer review optional" untick.
If admin users represented as "reviewer", when admin upload document, still have to choose a "reviewers" or else he can't upload any document, this would become something "wrong" .. right?

Limit folder contents by doc type

It could be useful to be able to limit contents of folders to one o more document types.

This feature could be in connection with the 'New fields for folder properties' request.
