Question regarding to putty source code

Hi all, this not directly relevant to Putty Session Manager, but related to putty.
I am trying to compile putty source code on my Windows machine.
I read in their documentation that it compiles on Visual studio 2015, I am looking for .sln file, they say its in directory: putty\WINDOWS\MSVC

But i dont have that directory on my source code, in putty\WINDOWS\ i have only the .c and some other files..
What am I missing ?
