From what I can see, the current plugin interacts with mplayer using the slave mode, which doesn't exist anymore in mpv.<br/>

Would you be interested in making mpv as a backend for video playback in qmmp?</p>
<p>MPlayer2 is deprecated and hasn't seen development for years. MPV is actively developed and has added a TON of awesome features. I think MPV would be a fantastic replacement for use in qmmp.</p>
<p>Thoughts?</p>
