* Can you confirm that the program is actually running? Launch Task Manager and check that Serial Port Notifier is in the list of running processes.<br/>
* If the program is not running, can you try running it manually? The program will usually be installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Serial Port Monitor
* In Windows, go to Settings -> Personalisation -> Taskbar. Scroll down to the Notification area section. Go into "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" and make sure that the icon for Serial Port Monitor is not disabled.
* In Windows, go to Settings -> System -> Notifications and actions.
