As I don't primarily use Windows I have not extensively tested it, but the Linux version has been stable for me and the Windows version works in my test VM. It may or may not require .NET on Windows. For all OS's, I recommend configuring it first. Known issues on Windows include a) the lack of the small preview window and b) the font chooser doesn't quite work right. As always, if you have any issues please use the forum. Thanks!

SkyRide 0.1 Alpha Released

This is a preview, it is certainly not feature complete, however it has run fine on my two test machines for a week (known issues withstanding). Note that for the Gnome releases, you *must* run System->Preferences->SkyRide Settings before running it and set the font file, I do not have autodetection enabled. You also must set an RSS feed (the drop-down has a few to choose from, but you can enter any URL). Browser launching does now work when run as a screensaver, only if you launch it manually. The code should compile on Windows, however, I had issues getting my compiler to compile a "hello world" wxWidgets app, much less the entire SkyRide application. Please use either the tracker, the forums or email to report any issues. If it is an rss related issue, please post the ~/.skyride/rss.xml file.
