Not sure if anyone else noticed the same things. Recently - before this, I noticed that the app was reportedly using a significant amount of CPU - close to 20%.

I am not sure if this indicates malware stealing CPU cycles or simply so other issues.

Anyhow - if the author is listening - I for one appreciated the functionality and design that was invested into it - and if there is no intentional malware injected into it - what is causing this and is there a viable fix

Band wise limiter ?

I came here while looking for a limiter for only bass, or even preferably along an equalizer.
Bass are most transmissible through walls - my neighbor's a bully.
I leave note in case you would like the idea.

Win 10?

Yes.
