This has been a pretty busy week for WeebleFM and will be coming to a head very soon. Several things are happening that the WeebleFM faithful may be interested in.
1. The next release (v1.2) will be coming out in just a few short days.
We've wound down on the new features and have been putting the finishing touches on the latest BETA/CVS version. Barring any unforeseen bugs, we are on schedule to cut a new release on Monday. Once that's done don't expect to see a 1.3 for quite a while. We've got some big ideas in mind ( internationalization, more customization) for that release and it'll take some time to get them done. Don't worry though, our main focus is still to keep WeebleFM as "Bloat Free (tm)" as possible. Please help us determine what to put in the next release by taking this survey http://sourceforge.net/survey/survey.php?group_id=23588&survey_id=11524 .
2. The WeebleFM HelpDesk is up and running.
The WeebleFM HelpDesk is a searchable FAQ/Troubleshooting document I put together this past week. The troubleshooting document was already becoming prohibitively large and it didn't have many solutions in it. If you're having a problem, or just want to check it out, go to http://weeblefm.sourceforge.net/tools/helpdesk/ . It's still in beta but I believe I've found any outstanding bugs.
3. Custom Themes Community
With the soon to be released v1.2 will come themes. Those of you running the latest betas will already know what I'm talking about. We have created a new forum "Custom Themes" where WeebleFM users can share their creations with everyone else. If we get a good enough response to this, we'll put together a better themes submission system w/ previews, etc...
4. Thanks!
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project. By beta testing, suggesting ideas, helping to troubleshoot, and even just telling us 'Good Job'. I'm pretty sure I speak for Jon also, when I say it means alot to us to get this kind of response to our project.
