However, similar reports have been made in the past and we still do not know a definite solution. It seems likely that this behavior is caused by Windows rather than WinMerge itself.

Problems comparing DVD content vs hard disk

I am trying to compare a DVD drive content "S:" with files on the hard drive. When I browse to say "S:\Files\" it instead changes to
"C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Burn\Files1\" and cannot find the files. I can then overtype to make it "S:\Files1\" but when I select the next folder it does this again and every time!!! Using current version 2.16.54.2 and also previosus version 2.16.52.2

Is there a fix for this?

#127 command line ignore idential files in CSV report

Adding the
/cfg ShowIdentical=0
option will work.

command line ignore idential files in CSV report

Hello I am trying to setup winmerge to not have identical files in the CSV report, so as to avoid copying files that are not needed, is this possible via command line?

Here is my current command

WinMergeU /r /m Binary -noninteractive /s "$LeftFolder" "$RightFolder" -noprefs /cfg ReportType=0 /cfg DirViewExpandSubdirs=1 -or $OutputFile /xq

Thanks,
