Could you supply the "XBMCMediaMove.log" file the app created?

Struggling to get xbmc media move 3.1 to move files from the source directory.

It does work for a few times if I do a complete uninstall and re-install of xbmc, but after a day or so - it gets stuck and noting happens.

Running:
Win 10
8GB Ram

Hi,

We tested you settings file and there seems to be issues with your task's configuration, precisely regarding the "Containing" (regex) and "Located In" values of the "Match File" tab.

XBMC Media Move is a powerful tool but mainly rest on regex manipulations; you have to properly define them in order for them to do the job you want them to.

Here is a settings file that you could try by placing it in your "C:\ProgramData\XBMC Media Move\Config\". We started from your file and changed a few things to make it work. You can also find a screenshot showing the resulting log.

** Be sure to keep a backup of the "Settings.xml" file already located in this path as it is your current configuration.

Please see the help for examples of how to use regular expressions (Regex) in the "Match File" tab. You can find even more help online with the Regular expressions help and the Regular expressions tester.

Here is my settings. It is not one problamatic file. It is EVERY ISO that is contained inside multiple RAR files. If I extract the iso out of the RAR files manually and then drop that iso into the folder that XMM is monitoring XMM works fine. However if I drop a folder with the RAR files into XMM then XMM extracts the ISO to a temp foler and when XMM scans the file in the temp folder it does NOT match the task and does nothing with the ISO.

An overview of the problematic file (IE: a screenshot of it's content showing filenames, extensions and sizes)

Ok. Figured out that issue. Issue I have now is this. If I take a Folder IE The.33.2015 that contains files named the33.jfkdvd.part001.rar and drop it into the folder that XBMC is monitoring I never get my extracted ISO.

Normally, XMM extract archive in an empty temp folder, then scans this folder for matching files.

Could you help us reproduce the problem? If so, please provide:

Your configuration file (Help/Troubleshooting/Export settings file)

I am having this exact same issue. It appears to be caused because when XBMCMM extracts the ISO it does so in a temp folder. Not the folder where the RAR files are located. So when XBMCMM scans the ISO file it does not match the task.

It appears not to work when I have Extract archives before processing files ON because it extracts to a temp folder. That then causes XBMCMM to fail with Not matching task...
