  • Well done, worked like a charm on an Outlook 2013 exported vcf file. A couple of feedback points: 1) the pop-up box asking for merging duplicate entries didn't take focus so was hiding behind the spreadsheet giving the appearance of hanging. Clicking on the spreadsheet just got the never ending rotating wait circle. Maybe because this is a 3 monitor W7Ult64 system and something else happened. Fortunately the dialogue was visible in the task bar so soon sorted it. 2) Need to use the TRIM() function on things like suffixes and a few other columns I forget now. I didn't expect data in there but using end-down to find the next entry was ineffective due to the amount of cells with spaces intermingled with cells with nulls. 3) The desire to get good data in every possible cell is commendable, but what it does is creates duplication within a line, particularly for suffixes that have in effect been caused by the decade old practice of putting full names and co name as first names since this is what worked with mobile ph's of the time and we dumb-f users just carried it forward! I suspect duplication could be avoided, maybe needs another pop-up box so whatever the anomalies end up being they were user choice driven. But great work, I really appreciate the help this has been.
  • I'm always the skeptic with this kind of stuff, but seriously this is outstanding. Well done and simple to use.

  • I highly recommend using this worksheet to convert contact information from VCF format to CSV. It works like a charm; a very useful and easy tool to use. At first I couldn’t get it to convert a Samsung S3 contact VCF file to CSV so I contacted the developer who was very helpful. Not only helpful but he worked with me to include the S3 format and did fabulous follow-up to make sure the conversion was successful. What a guy! He has improved the worksheet so that now it accommodates more formats than the earlier version. 2015 Update I just downloaded the latest version of this worksheet to use with Samsung Galaxy 5 VCF file. It worked brilliantly. All of the contact records were converted to an Excel worksheet. I am using Excel 2010 in Win 7. No worries. In fact, the developer added a couple new features that make the experience effortless. This is the best option for converting VCF files. Thanks.
