Double Commander Reviews

I use this daily in my Ubuntu Linux environment and it is improving all the time as they develop it. It compares very favorably with Total Commander in usefulness.

Cool, cool, really cool! At last we can get a replacement for otherwise brilliant Total Commander on Linux. Even in its current beta status (as of 0.4.5.1) it's WAY more stable and functional than Gnome Commander—only except FTP support (which is coming soon I believe) and proper file open-with actions (like 'Open with GIMP' for image files). Keep it up guys! Суперклассно, ребята, спасибо большое! Единственное, о чём тосковал под Линуксом, был Total Commander (вообще лучшее приложение под Windows, я считаю). Пытался раньше пользовать Gnome Commander, но ругательства быстро заканчивались (кто в нём работал, тот поймёт, чего стоит только постоянно хз куда пропадающее выделение в панели). Теперь я почти счастлив. Допилите только до стабильного состояния и добавьте FTP :)

Thanks! It was not comfortable without Total Commander in Linux for me. DC is a perfect replacement. I just wish a "brief view" option and more convenient viewer/editor. Great work!
