I'm a big fan of KeePass, using it daily since years, on Windows and Android. It's a real productivity and security tool, and it's (reasonably) frequently maintained and upgraded, which is sound. Very good job.

KeePass is one of the best password keepers. I've been using the portable version for over 10 years. Using this version means I can put the files in cloud storage and access it from home, work, and devices. Thank you for providing a great product and always working to make it better. Pairing KeePass with StrongBox was one of the best decisions I've made.

A very useful application for keeping saved passwords. All the functionality I wanted to have available is in the KeePass app. Frequent updates to the program show that the developers are working on the development of the application. What is missing is the ability to synchronize the application with an application installed on another computer. But perhaps there is already such functionality, and only I do not know about it. A big plus is that the application is free.

I would have liked to use this application to quit Kaspersky pw manager. I managed to do an export from there and convert it to a CSV as mentioned on a page i found on your website with a lot of bulls*** about and a sample.csv and no possible way to download the plugin. Unfortunately after installing Keepass about 3h ago i am still unable to make it work or import my csv into this application. I find the info on your website confusing and very very far from user friendly, it seems like you almost need a programmer background or something to make this work. Those people might enjoy it but someone like me who just needs a working application this is a total waste of my precious time

an excellent password manage that does what i want. Lets me have control of my DB. I want to manage sync and I can. I want to know I know where the DB is and I do. Integrates well in mobile and browser with associated plugins and that's what i'm here for.

Love this application. Use it as a backup to my main password manager which is part of my internet security software. Also donated to the project. My only wish is it can have an intergraded favicon downloader, as I don't trust all 3rd party plug-ins. And in the future, I hope we can have a modern looking interface. At first (years ago) I came across KP but never downloaded it thinking you need a rocket science degree to operate it. It looked complex. Once downloaded, once you use it and get used to it, you learn to love it. I should have done it years ago. Thanks to dreichl for his maintenance over the years.

Easy to use and easy to integrate. Very helpful password manager

I have been using KeePass since the beginning (version 1). Now I use version 2 on all my devices (Windows PC and notebook, Android phone and tablet) and all my devices are always in sync, no matter on which one I change something. The program is something like a "Swiss Army Knife". The program is a must for every admin, but also indispensable for private purposes.

I am using this program for 10+ years and I will not change it for anything else! I never had any problem, issue, stuck, bug. Program is running super fast on my windows pc and on my android mobile. Cloud Synchronisation is very easy. I have used program on Linux machines as well (different distros) with no problem. This program is a diamond! Someone can have different data bases based on individual needs. In same data base the lists can be built in a very flexible way. The data that can be stored for each entry is more than enough and very well organized. Someone can attach even files like txt and pdf. It has an automatic password generator. Honestly as a mid user i am using less than half of what program has to offer. It doesnt have a difficult interface, it is rather simple without graphics but that is the point here, a light fast, secure program with unlimited possibilities! Program updates are frequent! A big thank you to the programmer! Respect!

I've been using this program successfully for more than 10 years to save and protect, not just the passwords for sites, but also the notes and the miscellanous information requested by many sites when creating an account. The professionalism and respect shown by other programmers is demonstrated by the number of useful plugins available.

Have been using KeePass for more than 10 years, first w the 1.x version then upgraded to 2.x version. It has been stable secure and dependable, always. Many more features than I require or even know how to use, but I still think it's the best. I keep my data stored in the cloud and access the DB via any of the computers I am using (many upgrades and employer changes over the years) and on my phone. Therefore I never have to worry about loosing the data and I can synch it across platforms too. KeePass allows me to ensure no passwords are ever the same, are random and long; easy to do on KeePass. My only grip is the user interface font size can't be increased; my older eyes aren't as good as they used to be, haha.... Have never been able to figure out how to get support; but have always managed to install and get it working. Get this, use it and be assured your passwords are safe secure and unique.

KeePass is not only my favorite password manager, but is likely my favorite software application, period. It seems to have been designed specifically for me ;). It's true that KeePass is not simplified for modern users that can barely read, let alone follow instructions, but it's also not at all hard to use on a single device. I don't recommend KeePass to people that want a simple, unified option across all of their devices, but I highly recommend it to geeks that still use Windows or are willing to put up with display weirdness in Mono ;). You might notice that someone gave this project a 1 star review for having too many user options. It's fine to remove stars for complexity or other disappointing attributes based on your opinion, but entirely unfair to remove 4 out of 5 just because it offers more user options than most people need. Those people can simply ignore those options and never have to see them. Be objective and fair; a "good" program or product deserves 3/5 stars and KeePass is at least that good even if you don't happen to like it; it does everything that it claims to. I give KeePass 5 stars because it's by far my favorite password manager, but it's not the best choice for everyone.
