Label LIVE

Pros: Super easy to use and our labels look great. We have made 50+ different labels and have all looked great and were easy to setup.

Cons: Would love an auto fit option when adding a pic to labels that would automatically fill the label size. Also, would like to be able to have more than 1 user without having to pay for another license as the labels are the same labels, it's just a matter of who is printing them.

Overall: Have made 1,000s of labels and program works great. Would recommend and is easy to use, for users.

Pros: 1) Ability to transfer data from my stock product spreadsheet into Label LIVE
2) Easy to design, with my Logo, the exact 'look' and with direct information pertaining to each stock item - over 500 variations with relavent description, best before date (auto incremented) and price code for till processing
3) Excellent customer service - without doubt, the best.
4) The price, for everything you receive, makes this software unbelievably the best business tool I have ever purchased.

Cons: NOTHING. Genuinely, I cannot think of one aspect to fault.

Overall: Brilliant product from functionality to price. My business has a highly professional 'look' to the product range as I have designed, amended and evolved the label layout as and when my needs changed.

Pros: The software is very easy to use and covers lots of scenarios, The sequential barcode numbering works seamlessly and is easy to integrate on the labels. Overall good value and comprehensive but intuitive.

Cons: Label live once purchased can only be used on one computer, ideally I would like to have been able to use on my desktop but also on a laptop when out in the field.

Overall: A very easy to use software package that covers all my needs. Would like the license to cover 2 computers and a iPhone / Android app would be a great addition.

Pros: Mac compatible, great templates, QR & Bar codes, easy to use, labels printed in minutes, very WYSIWYG.

Cons: May not be a software issue, possibly hardware but am not able to wirelessly print.

Overall: Searched high and low for Mac compatible software for label printer, happy to have found Label Live. Easy to use, great features and works brilliantly.

Pros: Price. Similar programs require expensive subscriptions .
Functionality.
Basically everything you want from a labeling program.
Customer Support is excellent.

Cons: The interface could improve a bit. Particularly when looking and marking records for print.

Overall: The setup was very smooth. I just had some questions about how to use the software. Had no issues talking to an American based tech support.
He was very helpful. I wish they come up with a simple accounting software as well.

Pros: The ease of use of the software, super easy to design a label. So far so good. The options to adjust the image quality are really good.

Cons: If you switch computers, the process of deactivating the license could be a little tricky, I think it could be easier.

Overall: I love this software because it allows me to get the best out of my thermal printers, I have a Zebra ZP450 and a ZD420, and both work without any issues, I can even modify the defaults of the printers from the software.

Pros: It makes printing labels including Amazon return labels a breeze. Prior to using this program, I would fumble trying to open and use my Zebra, Dymo, Brother, and Canon printers. This program should be on the desk of anyone who values his or her time.

Cons: The only minor bug was that it froze a bit at the beginning. But one email to LabelLIVE was immediately returned with tips on how to rectify. And the issue was my fault.

Pros: The Label LIVE software is simple and easy to start using all the functions. The design layout very simple to understand and follow. Support is good and responsive.

Cons: Design label feature little difficult especially using the mouse to drag and drop no such function. Certain command still need key board arrow to move box and or object.
Import data from the design label was little confused for the first time designed the label.
We need written and or video instruction available online for those features.

Overall: Overall, we able to start using the label software in a day after figuring out most of the important function and testing the design label layout. It would be nice to have API call to link to database or file.

Pros: Extremely flexible with many options for data source as well as image library. Import data, flexible layouts, way extensive list of options to be able to make exactly what you need.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. So I'll use this to say the creator of the software is responsive and very pleasant to deal with.

Overall: It's worth it. I was looking for anything that would work well on my Mac and once I tried this I didn't look back. It's fast, it's easy and it's really well made.

Pros: The Pros to this software are the features. It's so easy to take a mailing list of hundreds of people, and in just minutes have hundreds of labels ready to print. Once you get used to it, the software is very flexible yet easy to use.

Cons: The training could be better, and I wish the labels showed a bounding box that we don't want to go over.

Overall: Overall, I've used the online software from two of the biggest label companies, and this beats both of them hands down. I'll be a long term user.

Pros: Label LIVE can be customized in ways that a lot of other apps cannot be. It is easy enough to use, but flexible enough to dive deep on advanced features/functionality!

Cons: Honestly, I really have any gripes with this software. The price is fair and the product-to-value ratio is amazing!

Overall: Very customizable app and whenever I feel like I've found something it doesn't do, I reach out to the developer. They respond very quickly and (in most cases) everything I wanted to accomplish is built right into the app. Love supporting companies like this!

Pros: New to the label printing world and desperate to for something working on Mac, I discovered this little gem. It's an extremely powerful piece of software when combined with an excel sheet for variable fields and images. It works like a charm.

Cons: I'll get back here when I find something, but so far I haven't encountered any cons :)

Overall: Pretty intuitive software from the get go. It takes a bit of learning as with all software when you want to get into full automated/variable label printing, but nothing more than with any other software.

Pros: Batch Uploading from Excel and creating what we require for all the barcodes with automatic excel file updating when we update the file.

Cons: At this stage there is no cons as everything we need done is achieved.

Overall: Great Product! So lucky we found it especially for Apple Macs, no we printing barcodes for all our customers instead of bulk printing.

Pros: Easy to use, does exactly what it should, works perfectly with other applications. we are printing on different label thermal printers, and it works perfectly on all of them.

Cons: Maybe better manual - but honestly t's super easy to use so it's not really a big CON, we managed to setup in less than 10 minutes without reading any instructions.

Overall: We are so grateful for having found this software, it has made the work of our warehouse team so much easier since installing it.

Pros: Super simple to setup and to work, very intuitive to use, very powerful to make great looking labels.

Cons: Monthly cost, but they also have a one time purchase, It wasn't worth it for the number of labels I did, but pricing could be a little cheaper for my use. (non Profit, education)
I would like to use it more, but just don't have enough use to justify the cost. But it works great.

Overall: If I was printing a ton of labels I would be good, The software are rock solid and it works great, I couldn't justify the ongoing cost, other wise I would still be using it.

Pros: A large client of our was insistent that we make specific labels for the devices they purchase for us. I did a search on the web and found Label Live. Couldn't be happier with the software. It is simple to use and straight forward.

the one time I had a technical question they were on it!!!! I really liked that speed of response to my need.

Overall: Love it! We are a small/medium sized business and it meets all of our needs. I highly recommend the software.

Pros: Very capable of producing the labels we need. Less expensive than Zebra and Bartender software. Live Label has a lot of features that these products do not have. Batch processing, inserting variables are great features. FANTASTIC customer service. Prompt responses from Caylan to my questions

Cons: Took some time to get the spreadsheet import working correctly. Suggest a download of a sample spread sheet and label. This is what Zebra offers

Overall: Great value compared to the more expensive competition. Has a lot of features that can grow with more complex organizations.

Pros: Was able to produce a simple label using information from a .csv file It functions flawlessly. Functionally it was the solution I needed to complete the project that was put on my desk.

Cons: Took a little bit to understand the proper formatting path from export download file to desktop file. But outside of that everything really was easy to use. There are many fonts to choose from, Lots of trial and error to find the one that worked.

Overall: For my purpose it is exactly what was needed. I needed to take information that varied and create uniform labels.

Pros: The label printing industry has failed you! Label live will not. This works with every label printer under the sun. Industrial, commercial, consumer, all of them. I can't be more clear about this: Label Live is genuinely intuitive and easy to use. Really!

Cons: Didn't like that it took my entire adult life to discover this product to replace the garbage that haunted the industry thus far.

Overall: If you've ever attempted to use a data source like a spreadsheet, or CSV with a common brand of label printer and given up because the manufacturers engineers and developers clearly do not want you to actually use the flipping thing, this is the solution. Same goes for industrial automation integration. No extra module crap. easy integration.
A single label, or 10000 from a data source, still easy.

Pros: The biggest thing that stands out is the ability of Label Live to work seamlessly on my PC or Mac. The next thing that stands out is ease of use. The interface is very intuitive. I have years of experience using WASP, Bartender and Zebra. I was leery to learn yet another label program, but it was a pleasant surprise. Label Live was very easy to pick up. Within a couple of hours, I was able to be just as fluent with Label Live as I was with the software packages I had used for years. The website was helpful in learning the things that weren't quite as intuitive. It is easy to search for topics and to read through the tutorials and examples. I needed to do this to figure out how to use variables and to use markup to format text - bold, italics, etc. Technical Support is top notch. I am pretty sure I talked to an actual programmer at one point while trying to uncover a hidden feature.

Cons: There were certain features from other pieces of software I had grown committed to. That was part of the reason I used multiple different software packages in the past. Bartender does certain things that WASP cannot and vice versa. Label Live is similar in that regard - no one piece of software does everything. However, when I asked technical support about a feature I was looking for, they pointed out that it already existed.

Overall: I highly recommend Label Live. I was very impressed with the overall ability of the software. I thought it was more of a home use program when I first demo'd it, but quickly realized Label Live can stand up against any other Industrial/High End label printing software out there. Label Live has the ability to print serial numbers, 3D barcodes, connect to my spreadsheets, and everything else I need it to do, in a clean well laid out interface.
