As I am currently studying a module on object oriented coding methods I thought it was probably a good idea to actually write some OO code.
This is a little project to write a simulator for flexible meshes. I will be using openGL to render these as either wire meshes or curved sheets. The plan is to be able to manipulate the mesh to set up waves and vibrations. I will also aim to be able to drop objects onto sheets and simulate the resulting behaviour accurately.
Essentially I am aiming for something that will give a fairly realistic rendering of what would happen if you dropped a bowling ball onto a trampoline.

a Breakoutgame on an animated Watersurface (University Project)
Water Breakout is the result of our group from the Graphics Internship (Grafikpraktikum, or GraPra) and was created in 4 weeks.
It is a classic Breakoutgame placed in a lovely oasis in the midst of a desert. Your goal is to keep the Ball in the Game, until it destroyed all Blocks by hitting them. There are different kinds of Blocks and also some special Blocks (like Bombs) in 5 different levels.
The Game uses OpenGL and has some Advanced shader effects (like for the Water). The models where created in Blender and exported to the Wavefront-Obj format.
It is only a small Studentproject, so there are no sounds and no Highscorelist. ...
We present an improved ball and stick representation called HyperBalls. This type of depiction is particularly useful to represent dynamic phenomena, such as the evolution of non covalent bonds and takes advantage of GPU capabilities.
HyperBalls are now fully integrated into the UnityMol software and are actively developed in that context. You will find the most up-to-date versions of the shaders in the http://unitymol.sourceforge.net project.
