...The Battery Optimizer aims to increase the life expectancy of a lithium ion battery in an electronic device by automatically stopping power being fed to an electronic device when the battery has reached a set threshold. Some companies do this with their devices but are usually proprietary. -Lenovo does this with some of their laptops -Company called "chargie" already doing this for phones. Using this device, it will provide universality. For the first iteration of this device, I chose to focus on laptops. I hope in the future to make an app for phones to connect to the device as well. -

This program was originally written for the Lenovo flex 5. But if your laptop has iio-sensor-proxy installed and supports it, automatic rotation should work on any laptop. Since version 1.7 I use an ASUS ROG Flow. Therefore new features and patches will be available first on the asus_rog_flow branch. -

Throttled
Workaround for Intel throttling issues in Linux
This tool was originally developed to fix Linux CPU throttling issues affecting Lenovo T480 / T480s / X1C6. The CPU package power limit (PL1/2) is forced to a value of 44 W (29 W on battery) and the temperature trip point to 95 'C (85 'C on battery) by overriding default values in MSR and MCHBAR every 5 seconds (30 on battery) to block the Embedded Controller from resetting these values to default. On systems where the EC doesn't reset the values (ex: ASUS Zenbook UX430UNR), the power limit can be altered by using the official intel_rapl driver. -

This is being strictly avoided on our side keeping everything to a bare minimum, delivering the stable performance all the time without destroying the AOSP interface.... -
