ACME is a free cross assembler released under the GNU GPL. It can produce code for the following processors: 6502, 6510 (including illegal opcodes), 65c02 and 65816. ACME supports the standard assembler stuff like global/local/anonymous labels, offset assembly, conditional assembly and looping assembly. It can include other source files as well as binaries while assembling. Calculations can be done in integer or float mode. Oh, and it is fast.

This project offers open source implementations for UNESCO/IFIP's Algol 68 (the Revised Report language). The project offers two implementations: Implementation 1 is Algol68G: a recent checkout hybrid compiler/interpreter by Marcel van der Veer, supporting arbitrary arithmetic, partial parametrisation, complex numbers, POSIX threads, GNU plotutils, GNU scientific library, curses, sound, TCP sockets, RegEx and PostgreSQL. Inplementation 2 is algol68toc, a port by Sian Mountbatten of the vintage Algol68RS (UK Defense Research Agency) compiler. The implementation emits C code.

RES is a pure Java based Open Source Cobol to Java translator. It creates maintainable Java code for a subset of VS Cobol syntax. It has been developed with JDK, JTB and Javacc.

mspgcc4 is no longer supported. Please use the newer toolchain at the MSPGCC project. (This was a port of the GCC 4.x branch to the Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontroller core. It is based on the MSPGCC project that is stuck with GCC 3.2.3.)

Z80-Pascal will be a cross-platform Pascal compiler for Z80 based devices, such as MSX, Spectrum-ZX, etc. Despite that it will be designed for old Z80 home devices (i.e. retro-programming) it will be useful for modern devices too.

ATasm is a 6502 command-line cross-assembler that is compatible with the original Mac/65 macro assembler released by OSS software. The aim of ATasm is to provide Atari home-brew coders with a comfortable and powerful toolset.

WinCMOC v0.6 is here! So many new features, I cant remember them all. Please uninstall old versions before installing. This is a port of the CMOC compiler (written by Pierre Sarrazin) to Windows. Currently CMOC does not support linking, so, I've written front end tools which edit CMOC's output so that it can be assembled and linked via LWTOOL's. C-Lesh is a game programming language for 2D games - mainly arcade and platform games. When combined with the Super Mario World (SMW) engine you can create awesome 2D platform games like Super Mario World. This language evolved from a "clone" of TI-BASIC which I began developing when I was having memory (segmentation fault) bugs with C. C-Lesh lacks memory allocation and destruction. There is no need to use pointers and you can never get memory leaks or program crashes caused by memory leaks. As C-Lesh is somewhat primitive you may like it if you are into C. I'd say its a step up from C for 2D games. Everything is set - all you need is a sprite sheet and some programming knowledge.
